HIDRA is a UK and South Africa-based consultancy helping high-growth startups and scaleups across tech, property, retail and hospitality strengthen operations and resilience under pressure.

Challenge
The consultancy required a distinctive name and identity capable of reflecting its sharp, resilient approach while standing apart from the more conventional visual language typical of the consulting sector.

Approach
We created the name HIDRA, inspired by the multi-headed serpent of Greek mythology, symbolising adaptability, regeneration and strength under pressure.

The visual identity centres on a bold bespoke wordmark supported by energetic colour and dynamic layouts. Layered “scales” graphics and textures reflect the messy but powerful reality of growth and the resilience required to navigate it.

Outcome
The resulting brand balances clarity with confidence, creating a distinctive presence for the consultancy. Applied across digital and print, the visual language and straight-talking tone of voice give HIDRA a clear point of difference and an identity built to support ambitious businesses under pressure.
